Q. Garrett, why did you write Killing Sacred Cows?

A. I'm passionate about finances because I'm passionate about the human spirit, about our ability to create, to produce, to innovate, and to experience joy and fulfillment. Unfortunately, there are many amazing people with incredible gifts, but they may be limited by mistruths in their financial lives. My ultimate hope is that this book will help unleash the power of the individuals who read it and internalize its message.

The message is unique in that it blends the empowerment of the self-improvement industry with the technicality of the financial industry. When readers can make the connection between their finances and their societal contributions, we will see phenomenal breakthroughs and increased productivity. And as people begin to prosper more--under the correct definition--we will see more happiness and abundance in the world.

He began a career in financial services at the age of 19 while attending Southern Utah University. Q. Stephen, why was Killing Sacred Cows a project you wanted to be involved with?

A. Garrett and I share the same passion for the human spirit. I've been honored to work closely with Garrett for a few years now, attending his seminars and being mentored by him, and assisting him with various writing projects. When he told me his idea for the book, I was convinced that it was a message that would resonate with people and help them to become more financially free.

Human freedom is my ultimate passion, and a significant aspect of personal freedom is financial freedom. The more people who are financially free, the less suffering we will see in the world. And I believe this book will have significant impact toward that end.
